Organisational Structure of Archido

 
Archido was founded in 1987 and forms part of the Institute for Drug Research (BISDRO) of the University Bremen at the faculty of law sciences. In the same time, it is managed by the non-governmental institution Archido e.V. which is administrated independently.

In 2004, Archido was re-named to Information and Research Centre for Tobacco, Alcohol, Pharmaceuticals, Drugs and Addictions.

The Archido team includes scientific staff from the faculty  of law sciences) and faculty of health sciences within board functions, and the employees of the library and information services.

Archido cooperates with several institutions at the University of Bremen, with institutions related to the addiction field, as well as with libraries, documentation centres and information services in Germany and Europe.
