Information management in the field of alcohol, drugs and addiction (AOD)

 Archido participates to various research activities in the library sciences context in cooperation with relevant associations and information services in Germany and the European Union. Due to the multidisciplinary character of the AOD related work contexts, and the distributed accessibility of publications, the development of user-friendly information services is of special relevance. Research activities on information management include networked methods of collection, cataloguing, administration and retrieval of bibliographic information and electronic publications in the fields of social sciences, policy and law sciences, psychology, education and medicine, regarding the inter-disciplinary topic of AOD.
