This mainly german-languaged collection of resources includes about 50.000 titles (december 2009) within the following document types:

• Books: about 8000 scientific monographs, compilations, specialised books, serials and belletristics (B-Signatures)

• Journals: 25 running professional journals including about 1350 issues (Z-Signatures) . In addition, 42 different Newsletters from AOD institutions are available.
• Reprints / Articles: about 7000 articles and reprints from scientific journals (F-Signatures)
• "Grey Literature": collection of ca. 12.000 non-conventional publications and institutional publishings, including academic and research reports, activity reports from addiction care services and federal institutions, prevention media, educational materials, law texts and jurisdiction, manuscripts and conference proceedings (BR-Signatures)
  This collection covers diploma and dissertation works (H-Signatures) and readers on special topics, e.g. health promotion in prisons (R-Signatures) and manuals (M-signatures)
• Press clippings: ca. 4000 newspaper articles from years 1987 to 2008
• AV-Media: about 300 video films (V-Signatures), mainly German-languaged prevention and educational media, TV-recordings and movies about alcohol, drugs and addictions in VHS format
• E-Publications: ca. 5000 digital texts, books, articles and research reports

All documents are catalogued in the local LIDOS database system, about 25% of these records include abstracts.
